Study shows fat loss promoted by leucine plus resveratrol

Despite French food being high in saturated fats, France has one of the lowest rates of heart disease in the world. Scientists call this phenomenon the French paradox.

Red wine the key?

One theory is that the answer lies in the considerable amount of red wine the French drink. Or, more importantly, the powerful antioxidant red wine contains called resveratrol.

Increased fat burning

Resveratrol activates an important chemical pathway called SIRT1. Scientists at the University of Tennessee found that a supplement containing resveratrol and the amino acid leucine (which also stimulates SIRT1) promoted fat burning and increased cell mitochondria (cell powerhouses).

Fast delivery

Our R&D innovations team have developed PepForm® Leucine Peptides with improved solubility and absorption compared to free form amino acids. A supplement containing resveratrol and a leucine ingredient such as this may improve fat loss. And an added advantage is that consumers looking for leucine's muscle-building advantages can benefit from PepForm® Leucine's fast-acting delivery system.
